FAQ

Our Elves have wrapped up all the essential details for your Fabulously Festive adventure …take a peek at their notes!
  • How many Ding-a-lings for a ticket?
    • We have two ticket options: Father Christmas Experience Tickets are between £25 and £39 per ticket. Our Christmas Village Tickets are £12.50 per ticket.
  • What’s the difference between the two tickets
    • The Christmas Village ticket opts you out of the Father Christmas Experience. So you still get access to everything as detailed below, other than the Grotto and a meeting with Father Christmas and some of us Principal Elves.
Please be aware that the Grotto, Reindeer Food Kitchen and Elf run Post Office all close at 7:00 PM each day.
  • What’s wrapped up in a day ticket?
    • When booking your Father Christmas Experience ticket we will invite you to select a time to join us and help us with our important work at our workshop.  This experience begins at the entrance to the twinkling, snow covered path.  Here you will be greeted by our Chief Elf “Birch” and this is where the magic really begins as you become part of our story.  We take you into the heart of the workshop and sweep you through into his house and an audience with Father Christmas.  This is the breathtaking moment every child holds in their hearts, the magic and the wonder of Father Christmas.  He has a personal word for every child and we promise you will get to capture this moment in a photo too. This is such a busy time that Father Christmas needs all the help he can get, so we might need your little festive folk to lend a hand!  Do please keep up to 40 minutes free, to ensure you get the time to meet Father Christmas in person too and guarantee your spot on the good list!  And if we know Father Christmas, we know for sure that all helpers will receive a wonderful gift for all their hard work!
    • Both The Father Christmas Experience and the Christmas Village tickets give you access to everything below:
    • Browse our delightful Christmas Market, whatever the weather (as we have noticed some festive folk don’t appreciate the chilly temperatures that turn our noses rosy red.) You can shop ’til you drop undercover, as you get those thoughtful, hard-to-find Christmas gifts from our carefully selected stall holders.
    • Make sure you visit the Fabulously Festive Shop to choose the perfect memento of your magical family day out.
    • At the heart of our Christmas Village, you will find our cosy Apres Ski bar,  the perfect place to rest and relax any time of the day.   Whether it’s a mulled wine for Grandma, a hot chocolate (complete with whipped cream and marshmallows)  for the little ones or a frothy headed beer, we have a perfect beverage to warm your cockles.  Rumbling tummies can be filled with an array of festive culinary delights. We elves like to let our nostrils lead us to the perfect dish, and my golly are there lots to choose from at Fabulously Festive!
    • We have noticed that festive folk are rather fond of taking pictures.. “Elfies” is that what you call them?   We have really enjoyed creating AMAZING photo opportunities for your family to capture those magical memories, can you find all the Elfie spots?
    • We love making you festive folk smile and chuckle, we will definitely get your toes tapping and you humming along to those well known Christmas jingles while enjoying the entertainment in the Christmas Village.
    • Everyone knows that an elf’s favourite food is toasted marshmallows, so please join us around one of the fire pits scattered through the Christmas Village and we can show you how to toast them just right.
    • Speaking of favourite food, we must remember the nine furry heroes of Christmas Eve, you’ve guessed it.. Father Christmas reindeer!  Can you find all their names hidden around the village?  We would love your help to make their food in our Reindeer Food Kitchen which is also located in our Christmas Village!  Don’t forget to take some with you to sprinkle outside your home on Christmas Eve.  This will give the reindeer the boost they need to get around every house before the break of dawn.
    • Most importantly, visit our Elf Post Office to write your letter to Father Christmas, and we will ensure its delivered directly to him via our magical post box.
  • What extra magic can I add to my day?
    • If you want to add a sparkly bow to your day ticket, we have extra activities available:
    • Ice Rink – get our skates on!  Book this in advance as tickets are limited.  We have skate aids for learners too.  First come first served.  This is a 30 minute slot.
    • Traditional funfair – we have something for all festive folk. These only work with Elf Tokens, available to purchase in the Christmas Village.
  • What time can I arrive?
    • We can’t wait to welcome you into our magical village. You can arrive at any time within our stated opening hours of 09:30-22:00 on full days, and 14:30-22:00 on after shorter days.  As you can see, our village is truly sparkly and distracting, so please arrive at least 30 minutes before your allocated activity time slot.
  • What if I arrive after my session starts?
    • We will always do our best to keep our festive folk happy, however, we cannot guarantee participation if arrival is after the designated time.
  • How do I book and receive my tickets?
    • Easy peasy!  You simply book tickets on our official website: www.fabulouslyfestive.co.uk

  • When is the event? What are the opening hours?
    • The Christmas magic starts from November 16th to January 5th. Opening hours vary across the dates, so please look at the website or your booking confirmation for opening times for your date.  Opening hours are 09:30-22:00 on full days, and 14:30-22:00 on our shorter days.
  • How long does each activity take? How much time should I set aside?
    • No two activities are the same. We suggest you plan for 3-5 human hours with us at Fabulously Festive.  Dependent on how you choose to spend your time.  We know our festive folk won’t want to leave us in a hurry!
  • Do you have SEN friendly days?
    • Of course!  Fabulously Festive is for everyone- please select a SEN date when booking.  Please be aware that these days will alter the overall experience of the event with quieter music and low lighting.  Please tell us anything that will help your experience when booking.  Contact us for more information and to help us ensure we can create magical days for everybody, inclusive of your specific needs on hello@fabulouslyfestive.co.uk
    • We are hosting two SEN days to ensure we are inclusive of everyone’s needs.  Please see the website for these days they are clearly labelled on the booking system, we have tried to give you the option to come during the day or after school hours to accommodate different needs.  Feedback on how we can make the day truly inclusive is always welcome.  We will always try exceptionally hard to accommodate specific needs where we can so please do always get in touch if you need more support.
  • On these days you can expect the following:
    • Lower than usual capacity in the Father Christmas Experience – this gives your child more time and space to enjoy their experience with less pressure.
    • No twinkling/flashing lights
    • The music is turned down.
    • Gifts aren’t wrapped to remove the element of surprise.
    • The ice rink has a smaller capacity as per the above.
    • Our Elf folk and Father and Mother Christmas are always patient and accommodating as they love children ( we all do here at Fabulously Festive of course), and today they are even more aware to give your children extra time and understanding.
    • We have a dedicated quiet zone for you or your child to go to at any time.  It has low lighting and comfy chairs for you to relax and escape anything overwhelming.
    • There are of course disabled car parking spots and disabled toilets.
  • Is there parking available?
    • Yes, parking will be available at the site. Parking requires booking and payment in advance.
    • A request from the Big Man himself, he wants to make sure everyone is safe on site so we need to make big festive folk aware that…All vehicles parked within the venue are parked at the owner’s risk and Fabulously Festive accepts no responsibility for such vehicles or their contents. All vehicles must be driven with the utmost care while on the venue and all vehicle drivers must comply with all instructions of Fabulously Festive staff. Vehicles must only be driven along routes and parked in areas specifically designated by Fabulously Festive.   We reserve the right to require that any vehicle be moved, or to move any vehicle, if it is not parked in an area designated by Fabulously Festive or if it is otherwise obstructing the smooth operation of the event or represents a safety hazard… phew!  Thanks for reading…

    • IT’S CHRISTMAS!!!! Us Elves LOVE getting dressed up for Christmas. So every day we will choose our favourite, most Christmassy outfit and reward them with a surprise gift, the sparklier the better.
    • It can be chilly, so we suggest layering up, some parts of the village are outside, so outdoor footwear is a must.

    • All babies under 12 months old can come for free – no ticket required.
  • Are you allowing dogs?
    • We love your furry four-legged friends, but Mrs Christmas is very strict about leaving them at home please. She says she has enough trouble looking after us elves! She firmly believes that dogs should not be left in cars, so we Elves are instructed to break out any dogs left unattended in cars. Service and working dogs are very welcome on leads and to be cleared up after please.

We also have a selection of beautiful, freshly cut Christmas Trees available to purchase.

We can’t wait to welcome you to Fabulously Festive. For anything else please get in touch on: hello@fabulouslyfestive.co.uk and one of our team will be thrilled to help.
