Fabulously Festive – Event Accessibility

• Is the venue handicap accessible?
Yes, in parts, some of the venue will have wheelchair and disability access, however some activities may not be suitable. Terrain does vary across the venue due to the indoor and outdoor nature of the event.

• Accessible Car Parking
Please be aware that accessible parking will require booking in advance as per our general carparking. This will be located on the hard standing and this area gives you a short walking distance to our main gate entrance.

• Are you allowing dogs?
We support Service Animals Registered Guide dogs; Hearing dogs and medical alert dogs are welcome on site. Where dogs are permitted, they must be kept on leads at all times and must not be allowed to foul anywhere on the site.

• How do I get a Carer Tickets?
Disabled guests are entitled to an additional free carer ticket mirroring the access to the areas of the guests booking. This will need to booked in advance of your visit. Please add a carer reservation ticket to your order and then bring along one of the following documentations to validate.

Disability Living Allowance or Attendance Allowance Award (Dated within last 6 months)
Personal Independence Payment Letter (dated within the last 6 months)
Current and Valid Blue badge
A Headed Letter from GP Consultant (dated within the last 6 months) confirming the need for a full-time carer.

• Customers with Epilepsy
Flashing lights will be used across the event site that might be likely to affect some people with epilepsy. Customers with uncontrolled epilepsy should obtain their GP’s approval for participation considering the style of event reviewed with the type and severity and frequency of seizures. The presence or absence of warning signs Known trigger factors (e.g. cold parks, stress, excitement, noise or dazzling lights.  The individual must be accompanied by a person aged 18 years or over, who must have knowledge of the condition and be able to recognize an attack.

• First Aid
A first aid team will be onsite that can assist should they be required. If you need medical assistance and need to be seen by a first aid responder, please see one of our staff members, who will assist you and get you the help required or if you have a medical condition that we need to made aware of please email in advance so we can then make any necessary arrangements.

• Oxygen & Other Gasses
Please notify our team via email if you are bringing any gasses such as oxygen onto site, we can then identify the location of these on the day. We please ask that this be kept on your person at all times.

• Electrical Equipment
We ask that all electrical equipment is charged before coming to the venue. However, if needed we will locate and help supply a source of power if needed – Please make sure chargers that may be needed are PAT tested.

• Will you have any neuro-inclusive/SEN-friendly days?
Yes, there will be sessions, that will be marked as neuro-inclusive/SEN-friendly. Please check the event listings to book these sessions.
